"The Beat Goes On"
A music production sample. Here we adapted the Sonny & Cher classic as the opening song in a stage show also called "The Beat Goes On" The show traced popular music through the evolution of the beat. In this example we wrote new lyrics that described a brief history of music and intermingled them with the original lyrics to the song.

"Bourbon Street Parade"
Don Erdman and his Hotlanta Dixieland Jazz Band asked us to create several video DEMOs for his group. This one combined a studio soundtrack by the group playing the New Orleans standard "Bourbon Street Parade" and we combined appropriate photos of New Orleans interspersed with photos of the group in performance.

"Doctor Jazz"
More from Don Erdman's Hotlanta Dixieland Jazz Band. In this one Don asked us to write a "brief history of jazz!" We wrote the copy and collected photos and video to accompany the narration. For the middle we found a recording by King Oliver's Jazz Band (1928) of Doctor Jazz and matched the key and tempo to a modern recording of the same song by Hotlanta. There is a seamless transition from one to the other.

"Alexander's Ragtime Band"
More from Don Erdman's Hotlanta Dixieland Jazz Band. This is the 3rd offering from a DVD DEMO we made for Hotlanta and it features the group in concert at the University of Georgia in February of 2008. The song is "Alexander's Ragtime Band".

"Flashback"
A music production sample. Here we were asked to create a 'theme song' for a stage show about classic television theme songs called "Flashback!" Since there are no existing songs about television themes we wrote an original and recorded the sample here. The original version has 3 segments (only one represented here) that each introduce different TV Theme Songs and this was the first, introducing the Tonight Show Theme and The Carol Burnett Show Theme.
